Paul Bahry was born in Guelph, Ontario. An extrovert, energetic and curious, Paul was nicknamed “Mad Doggy Jr.” in homage to his Grandfather, former Guelph Mayor and well regarded radio-personality Norm Jary. Influenced by the public success of his grandfather, Paul acquired a cultured, gregarious and compassionate character.

Attending elementary school in Guelph, Paul excelled at Track And Field. Later becoming involved in Martial Arts, which he studied in-depth for nearly a decade. Indicative of Paul's entrepreneurial spirit and self-confidence, at age 15 he registered and operated a small computer business. Garnering extensive experience in computers, he has held several jobs in technical support. Paul currently works as a free-lance CSC analyst for IBM.

Befriending a popular karaoke host in 2005, Paul soon became immersed in the dance and karaoke scene. Discovering an innate talent and joy for singing, Paul decided to start up his own KJ and DJ company. Paul Bahry (aka Paul Axe) has been singing professionally for 3 years.

Today, PaulAxe can be found pushing powerful vocals through classic grooves or mixing down slamming club-sets in venues throughout Ontario.
